Matt Bell is in his third year as the Head Band Director at Brookside Intermediate in CCISD. Mr. Bell teaches the beginner Woodwind classes, assists the Symphonic Band, and leads the Wind Ensemble. 

Mr Bell is passionate about helping young musicians build confidence, develop leadership skills, and experience the power in working toward a common goal. He believes the band hall is about more than music—it's where students learn perseverance, teamwork, and the value of consistent effort. Great things happen when students discover what they're capable of.

Mr. Bell earned his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Houston and his Master of Music Education from Tarleton State University. Every day, Mr. Bell strives to create an environment where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to grow.

At the heart of everything he does is family. Mr. Bell and his wife, Kristi, are proud parents of their children Katherine and Alexander. They remind him daily that the greatest success isn't found in individual achievement, but in helping others reach their full potential.
